Kia ora Hazel and Hilary,

I am so touched and I feel so honoured that you have taken the time to write to our Summer Learning Journey team this year. We absolutely love our job and feel so lucky to spend our summers reading great work and posting comments! I have spent the morning reading blogs and when I came to yours and read this post I immediately started to smile. You have made my day (actually, you have made my week).

Thank you for your kindness and for showing our team that you care. I have sent a link to this presentation to all of our team members and I know that they will all read it today and that it will make them smile. I think that they will particularly like the rap. I had to laugh when I read the line that said, "me and hazel hate how you guys are so damn great, just kidding we don't hate it. I just can't find anything else that rhymes with this rap LOL." Hahahahahaha! That is so funny!

On a serious note, though, you have brightened our day and made us feel very special.

Thank you.

With huge appreciation,

Rachel (and the entire SLJ team)

Hi Hazel and Hillary,

WOW! Thank you for your lovely message :) That has really made my Christmas! I can't believe how much effort you must have put into this presentation.

It's so nice to hear feedback from our participants, and I hope that you both have a lovely and special Christmas with your whanau tomorrow.

Meri Kirihimete,

Hazel :)

Hello Hazel and Hillary,

My name is Georgia and I am the Kaikohekohe Cluster Manager for the SLJ programme. Thank you so much for the kind, creative and thoughtful slideshow. I can tell you both have put a lot of hard work into the words you have written and the presentation, ka pai.

I hope you both have a lovely Christmas with your whanau. I plan to spend the day with my Mum's side of the family, eating yummy food and hopefully playing lots of card games as the weather in Whangarei is quite miserable.

Thanks again for the lovely Christmas wishes!
Nga mihi, Georgia.

Merry Christmas to you, too, Hilary! I hope that you are having a wonderful day with your family. Do you have any special plans? I am just heading out to our local beach for a quick swim before I come back to continue blog commenting. I can't wait to get outside and have some fun in the sun!

See you back online soon, I hope :)

Cheers,
Rachel
